Benlirad

Benlirad is a bicycle shop in Lahr in the Black Forest. The platform originally built for Bikehaus Freiburg runs here in its own cut: the same core — purchasing, stock, sales, returns, customers, invoices, expenses and statistics — but shaped for a shop that sells and repairs rather than rents. That was exactly the work: what actually belongs to the core, and what only existed for the first client?

The public site runs on Angular 17 with server-side rendering in four languages (DE, EN, FR, TR). It pulls its content straight from the inventory system: the showroom shows real stock including a counter of available bikes, alongside new bikes, accessories, repair service, guides, FAQ, warranty and local landing pages for the region. What gets booked in at the shop is online without an intermediate step.

It all runs on a dedicated server with Docker and nginx: API, admin interface and SSR front-end as separate services, SQLite as the database, JWT for sign-in. On top come the same tools as in the sibling project — Kleinanzeigen sync, Chrome extension and a Windows build for the machine at the shop.
